Batu Secret Zoo

First Modern Zoo in Indonesia, located in Batu, near Malang East Java, Indonesia. Opened in June 2010 and includes an animal museum "Museum Satwa", a tree-style hotel "Pohon Inn". The complex is spread over a 12 hectares (30 acres) area

 

The zoo features a wide range of animals spread throughout a number of specialized areas, such as:

 
Savannah, a glass-walled tunnel where visitors can view a number of the larger African animals; 

 

African Village, contains the smaller African animals;

 

Fantasy Land, the children's and general rest area, such as a cafeteria, a children's pool and other amenities;

 

Feeding birds, an area where guests may feed a wide variety of birds in an open enclosure;

 

Mancing harimau, tiger feeding enclose where guests can feed the tigers while standing on top of an acrylic glass platform.
