On 28 Oct 2009 evening, our flight has just landed at Sukarno Hatta Airport, Jakarta from Senai, Johor Bahru. That day was bright and we hoped we could get to Puncak before sunset, but it was impossible, due to the traffic jump in Jakarta as usual. Finally, we arrived in Puncak after taking 5 hours and overnight at Surya Hotel.
After breakfast, we went to Bandung and spent for 2 nights at Naval Hotel, Sukajadi. Our first trip in Bandung was visited Batik Danar Hadi, the famous and branded batik (clothes for male & female, kid & teen, formal & informal event, and souvenirs), and then we went to Pasar Baroe, the shopping center for a variety of textiles. After satisfying shopping, we were full team (14 person) checked in at the Hotel and had a free time for personal business.
After breakfast, we were ready to go to Tangkuban Perahu Volcano Mountain and famous with the legend of Dayang Sumbi and Sangkuriang. Some of us explored the side of crater of Tangkuban Perahu, some of us hunted souvenirs and some of us just relaxed. After enjoying the sight of Tangkuban Perahu, we went back to the town for continuing our shopping. Firstly, we walked around the factory outlets, the place for hunting the latest and branded clothes with cheaper price; then we went to Cibaduyut, the center of leather industries (bags, shoes, slipper, jacket etc); and lastly, we went to Cihampelas street, the street for jeans and t-shirt supply.
After breakfast, we went directly to Jakarta via Cipularang Highway. Arrived in Jakarta we discovered Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, the beautiful Indonesia Cultural Park, displaying the diversity in architecture and custom of each of Indonesia different region. At the evening we checked in and overnight at Hotel Alia, Jakarta.
On 1 December 2009, after breakfast, we continued our exploration to Mangga Dua Trade Center, the great wholesaler to find the cheapest clothing & stuff, and for completing our shopping enthusiastic for the last day in Jakarta. And ...... finally, we were transferred to the Airport for back home with lunch box. Thank God, we were back home safely. TAKE A LOOK OUR PICTURE......
