4 days 3 nights trip
Monday 16 Nov 2015, at 9 pm, we
started our trip from the Pertubuhan Peladang Kawasan (PPK) Muar Selatan office,
by 2 double deck buses; yeaahh…. our group was a big group; consist of 90
people plus some of crews. We spent our first night at the bus. And at 5.15 am
we arrived at R & R Gunung
Semanggul-Bukit Merah, Perak, for cleaning up, Subuh Praying and early
breakfast. At 10 am we have reached CTC
Changlun, Kedah to get white card
and changed money before entering the border of 2 countries.
The first our activity in Hatyai –
Thailand was a having lunch at D’Hatyai
Restaurant, the Thailand food, so yummy but so hot & spicy. After
lunch, we continued to go to Nora Plaza,
the central of Thailand souvenir in Hatyai. After satisfying souvenir hunting,
we moved to the Central of Snack,
where so many kinds of snacks presented there, such as dried
mango/seaweed/durian/jackfruit, etc; noodle, crackers, beans, candies, and so
on. At 6 pm, we arrived at Hatyai Central Hotel. Finally we could clean up properly and took a rest for a moment, after more than 15 hours in the bus! At 8 pm, we went out of hotel for dinner at Kak Sah Muslim Kitchen, Thai food taste also. After dinner, we have a free time to explore Hatyai city. Some of us dropped in front of Li Garden Mall and some back to the hotel. We were all separated in the Hatyai city to get our own need, foot/body massage or just window shopping. We could back to hotel by foot or by tuk tuk, the traditional public transport in Hatyai.
On the third day, we have breakfast at Thai Malaysia Restaurant, Malaysian food buffet; actually, we deserved for breakfast at hotel, but we felt hesitant, due to it’s not muslim country and muslim hotel. After breakfast we went directly to Songkhla, for 1 hour from Hatyai. In Songkhla we visited the Samila Beach, the beach that famous with mermaid statue, beside of mouse & cat statues as represent of the mouse & cat islands. Satisfied taking picture & shopping souvenir, snack & ice cream at that beach, we went to the Central of Handicraft-Songkhla for hand bag, wallet, hat, etc; where the main material is made from the waste of coconut tree. Finished shopping at the Central of Handicraft, we moved to Sami Kitchen for lunch….. thai food taste again.
After Lunch, we’re back to Hatyai & stopped at Masjid Wilayah Songkhla, for praying (Jama’ Dzuhur & Ashar); it’s the big…. big…. big mosque….. compared to the prayer. Arrived in Hatyai, we explore the Chang Puak Camp-Hatyai, the elephant camp with so many activity such as riding elephant, elephant show, etc. The next destination was Thai House Honey Hatyai, the central for some kind of honey product (such as royal jelly) and its derivatives such as soap. Before shopping honey, we were briefed by the staff of Thai House Honey for the every type of honey, its function and how to consume it. The last our dinner in Thailand was at Chalee Muslim Buffet, where we could eat all of available food & beverage as much as we want; but if we left some food, we would be charge! Good! It’s to teach us to eat & drink in a reasonable and do not be an excessive; we spent 2 hours for that dinner…..
We checked out hotel at 9 pm, at the last day trip, and directly went to breakfast at Kak Sah Muslim Kitchen once more, but that time, was a buffet breakfast. After breakfast, we went to the border, and before passing Thailand immigration, we stopped at Danok Area for last shopping in Thailand. And after passed the 2 immigrations (Thailand & Malaysia) we still had time for shopping at Duty Free, the Zon, shopping…. shopping….. and shopping. On the way home, once more we stopped at Jeruk Madu Pak Ali, Pinang,….. shopped again!!
We arrived at PPK Muar Selatan office at 1.30 am…….. it was a very long journey, passed 8 states (Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Pinang, Perak & Kedah). A very expensive trip, caused at the every stop, we definitely shopped!!!
see our memory......
